What are the treatment for person with cardio megaly? if a person has heart enlargement will it be back to the normal size again?

While, like the doctor above says, it depends on the underlying cause and your treatment and how you respond and all, if it helps give you any encouragement, I can tell you that in 2010, due to MMPEs, my heart was enlarged. After treatment, and staying on my medication, within one year, my heart went back to what is considered normal size for me, and it has stayed that way for two more years since then. Definitely is possible for some people to 'go back to normal'... good luck!

Treatments for enlarged heart focus on correcting the underlying cause. It may vary from medicines like diuretics, Angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors, Angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs), beta blockers, digoxin, anticoagulants to surgical methods like by devices to regulate the heart beat (mplantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD), heart valve surgery, coronary bypass surgery to left ventricular assist device (LVAD).
