Hello.
Thank you in advance for your time and advice!
I'm wondering if I have anything to be worried about; also what measures I might take to help mitigate any future issues (i.e., diet, exercise, supplements), and what type of follow-up tests or treatments I should request.
I am a 57 year old male and have been diagnosed with trace tricuspid regurgitaton, mild pulmonic regurgitation, and trace mitral regurgitation.
The echocardiogram report states:
Left Ventricular Structure: normal size & shape
Left Ventricular Function: overall function is within normal limits. EF 58% by MOD
LV Diastolic function: left ventricular function is normal
RV Structure & Functon: right ventricular function is normal
LA Structure: left atrium is normal in size
MV Structure & function: mitral valve is structurally normal; there is trace mitral regurgitation.
AV Structure & Function: the aortic valve is a tri-leaflet structure; there is no aortic regurgitation.
TV Structure & Function: structurally normal; there is trace tricuspid regurgitation; RSVP cannot be assessed due to lack of TR signal.
PV Structure & Function: the pulmonic valve is structurally normal; there is mild pulmonic regurgitation.
Aorta Structure: Ao root measures 3.9 cm; ascending Ao; Ao arch; abdominal Ao are normal.
Pericardium: ther pericardium is normal
Conclusion(s):
The left ventrical is normal in size and shape.
The overall left ventricular systolic function is within normal limits.
EF 58% by MOD.
Ao root measures 3.9 cm; ascending Ao; Ao arch; abdominal Ao are normal.
