Anuli,my 1st born child (boy) has HLHS and he has 2 beautiful sisters (normal).

No medical field can give me an answer why i got a HLHS child as there is no genetical tie.  Believe in yourself and trust your religion......hold on to that and believe you will have many healthy children after your HLHS child...

Dont mean to impose...is there someone you know that has a HLHS child??  Ihave ltos to tell you if only you are interested to know....

April.

have you talked to a geneticist about the chances of this happening again? One in every one hundred births has a resulting heart defect in a baby. Go back and talk to your baby's pediatric cardiologist and also ask this question on the"pediatric cardiology forum' if you haven't already.
