can heart attack lead to shortness of breath to inhaler use

i went to the hospital 3 times a week for dangerous chest pains and they did echo of my heart  and a heart Catha and did not find anything. then they did a ct scan with contrast of my lungs for clots and they came back neg for clots.my PCP but me on a inhaler to help me breath better.does this mean i have astma?

no i have not had a chest cold.i do cough alot.what else could make me start using an inhaler?

Not necessarily.  Did you have a recent chest cold with a lot of coughing?  Lungs can become inflammed and an inhaler can help relieve the pressure that this inflammation causes.
