Hello,
I am sorry for what has happened.I can feel your pain and I am very sorry for that.
Congestive heart failure (CHF) is a progressively debilitating illness and the prognosis of CHF depends on variable factors which are different for different individuals. It depends on the nature of the underlying heart disease, response to medications, the degree to which other organ systems are involved, the patient's degree of impairment and other factors that remain ununderstood till date.
As you were saying that he was foaming from mouth,so chances of pulmonary edema(fluid in lungs) cannot be ruled out. Both diseases make it hard for the entire body to get the oxygen it needs. So it might have been CHF with pulmonary edema or arrhythmias that may have been responsible for your husband’s sudden demise.
Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted.
If what happened is he had a heart attack in the main left artery, that most of the time causes immediate death. Also, what could have happened was his electrical system failed or he had an aneursym. Medications do help especially blood thinners. There are statics that show that younger people are more likely to have a serious heart attack than older people who have more smaller heart attacks. When this happened to our relatives and we talked to the doctors, the doctors told us that it would not have mattered if the relative was in the hospital or not (that there was nothing that they could have done). My cousin drove himself to the hospital while having a heart attack and he died in the ER. The hospital said that there was nothing they could do for him. He was only 50. I am sorry for your loss of your husband. It is very hard and time will help you to feel better. We somehow learn to live with the loss of our loved one. I don't believe that we actually get over the loss, but we learn to live with the loss. Please accept my condolences and know that there are many people going through what you are going through. My uncle passed away suddenly at the age of 31 and we have lost many, many family members to heart disease and cancer along with friends and co-workers. Take care and I hope you find peace.
I feel your pain. My mother just passed away on March 27.
In the morning, I noticed foam coming out of her mouth and called 911 but it was too late.
I think she passed away during night and I just hope she did not suffer.
Did you call 911 after you realized that your husband was not feeling well?
Was he in pain?
Please accept my condolences.
