ihi guys i was diagnosed with u/c last year! i have had a couple of bad flare ups chronic pain and bleeding /ect/ but could i have chrons iswell? when i eat any food the pain is awfull and im on the loo 5min later? can anyone else relate to this?? many thanks ali xx

thanks trudie i seem to be ok with the gluten? when im in a flare its anything!! my ibd nurse gave me a diet sheet but things still the same realy? im on steriods again at tha moment wot joy!!!! i guess i will have to keep a eye on it xx

Keep in mind that the symptoms are very simliar.  I would look at your diet first.  Are you on a low residue diet?  You might even have an issue with gluten.  Try doing a gluten free diet and see if you get some relief.
