Do I need another test to diagnose chron's?

I had an MRI test which suggested I had nodes in my terminal ileum to the mid ileum. I just want to ask that does a colonoscopy reach as far as the mid ileum, or would another test be done to go that further down?

It depends on the type of colonoscopy performed.  There is a colonoscopy that can view your entire colon or you can get the colonoscopy that views only a portion of your colon.

I do not think my doctor has ever gotten further than my terminal ileum with a colonoscopy. There is something called a small bowel series that may be able to get a better picture of that area or maybe the pill cam.
