I didn't read the long reply, mostly because I don't have the time to at the moment, but I'll be book marking this page for future reference.

Honestly, I take a lot of curcumin. It has tumeric in it and it's amazing for inflammation.
I have moderate to severe Crohn's Disease and I've had it since I was about 13. I use the curcumin more than I should, I take about 18tabs a day, but it works for me like a hot damn.
It's natural, so you can find it in just about every health food store. If you can handle it, I would do some type of cleanse as well. I can't do them... The bathroom is not only my home at the moment, it's also become my unwanted best friend.. So I'm doing everything I can to get away from it..

I had severe Proctitis for about 10 years and don't have it today......This Proctitis was very similar to your Chron's:   even going watery stools was painful, and if the stools did become a little normal it would be hell for me to pass it through rectum because it was no bigger than a pencil when it hit inside the comode.    THAT WAS VERY TERRIBLE INFLAMMATION that I do not have today!   And I go just once and stool is normal and most of all I don't have a sensation of swollen colon and rectal area!

You can use:
Odor controlled garlic 500 mg from swansonvitamins for SULFUR to help control the inflammation........Humira molecule is all sulfur just go to wikipedia and see it!  I think some 6 or more of these capsules will help you-just give them time.

1000 mg Vitamin c.  Time-release from swanson or some other company.   Vitamin c is known for antioxidant properties, but few people know that IT is NECESSARY for collagen formation which is in your skin so you'll find it in colon, ligaments, cartilage, etc..   You should take at least 4 of these.

B-100 which I get from swanson too and are needed by your nerves especially those in the GI system.  You should take 3 of these daily.

Magnesium 400 mg daily, Niacinamide 1 grm, vitamin e 400 IU, Vitamin and vitamin K any amount of vitamin K2.

For vitamin K go to vitacost and get the Ultra vitamink with advanced K2.....This vitamin K along with magnesium will be some of the most IMPORTANT things you put in your body because vitamin K is critical for nerves and IT WILL HELP PREVENT you from getting cancer.   Educate yourself on this supplement by googling and wikipedia because Many people with Crohn's die of colon cancer.  Also google magnesium cancer.

These supplements will repair the nerves in your colon or BRAIN since I have a son who was diagnosed as having psychosis 2 years ago, and I got him Normal with the above supplements just like I cured my Proctitis.    Anxiety will STOP!   Cramps that you keep getting in your legs WILL STOP!   Heart rate and Blood Pressure WILL BE LOWERED!   All this happens after taking the supplements for more than ONE year, but you will see results in months, and I hope you have just as much success that I did in repairing the damaged nerves in my colon.

Why one or two nerves could be damaged in colon?:
Damaged tendons and ligaments due to fall causes immune system to respond; invasion by bacteria causes immune system respond; Just about anything can elicit a response in the immune system so it is always on alert hence some small nerve damage that does not affect bowel-movement is causing the IMMUNE SYSTEM to Respond and harm the colon.     This explanation of why the immune system is attacking your colon is Logical and Thoughtful and Theoretical which noone can refute or DISPROVE because I know what I am saying!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi there!

You haven’t mentioned if the TB was pulmonary or involved GI as well. If it was pulmonary, local medications that act by working on the GI with little systemic absorption can be tried in your case. I would suggest consulting a gastroenterologist for appropriate management.
Hope this helps.

Take care!
