Hey guys,
I'm scheduled for my colonoscopy on june 13, and I have a few questions. My symptoms have pretty much gone away since may 10th or so, and I am wondering if it is possible to make a diagnosis when symtoms go into remission? There is a family history or UC, so my doctor recomended going for it, I'm 20 so I'm at the age where it normally onsets. Also I have noticed over the past few years I have pretty frequent bowel movements, and they are sometimes a little soft (before I really had major symptoms) is that consistent with the average person with the disease before they get major symptoms? I don't eat all that well though so I always thought it was part of that, before I had extremely bloody stool (looked like just blood sometimes) and very uncomfortable cramping and some joint pain. Basically I just wanna know if this test will definitively tell me if I have it or not, even without symptoms persisting like they were a month ago, there should still be inflammation correct?
