good doctor Gastroenterologist/ ulcerative colitis in pheonix

hi, i m having constipation and blood&muscus  (no stomact pain) in stools up since past 4 months but m scared to go to doctor.  I think it is ulcerative colitis after surfing the internet.  i have been a very healthy 30 yr old, but this sudden problem has scared me..m scared to know that i have UC,crohn's or IBD.  but i think it's time to face it, cud anybody tell me of some good doctor in Pheonix or scottsdale area - a good Gastroenterologist, who cud tell me correctly what my problem is... a doctor who has good diagnosis.
thanks for help!

hi ali,
no have not yet been to the doctor, have been searching through names of doctors, finally picked one. she has been among top doctors since past few years...atleast that's what my internet search says!  Will take appointment for next week.
Well, i hv started taking early morning walks since past few days, it's helping a little ... but this might be just my feeling as with me the symptoms suddenly start becoming better for a few days and after some days they r back...so this walk thing cud be the same story.
will keep u posted...how is it with you. r the things getting better?

im in england so dont know about your doc,s over there ? but im sure you will find a good one? start off by seeing your own doctor and go from there/ i went back to the docs today he gave me some more steriods to stop the flareups / the steriods will only cause you problems if your on them long term / lte me know how you get on? wot other symptons are you having? xx ali
