There was something on yahoo news not long ago about how military serving on subs are at the highest risk for developing mental health issues. I have been looking for the link as it fits well with this story. I can sure understand how that might be...I got to tour a sub once at a military museum and just being in there for a short time felt so claustrophobic. I can't imagine being there for an extended period of time. If you find a link to this particular story, could you please post it? I would be very interested in reading more about it.
In any event, how sad this happened. Did the crew members survive the shooting? I hope so.
Well subs are very stressful, being cooped up in very 'close' quarters,I have family were on subs .not too enjoyable at any time ...
It was allegedly a disgruntled crewmember.
Lots of "missing pieces" to the story. He could easily have destroyed the sub.
I heard about this but saw no details was it other crew or terrorism ?
