My story .. Thanks ANNIE. :)

Question

Hey ladies !! I know I'm not the only one that went through this .. So here's my story and maybe I can help some of you out figure out conception dates or help you guys in any way ... 


I got my period on the 1st of Oct. ended on the 5th. Had sex with my bf all the way till 16. and then another guy on the 19? I took a Home pregnancy test on the 24th because I had been cramping since the 21st...The HPT came back POSITIVE on the 24th. 

-My periods are very regular by the way( 28-29 days) - To be honest I don't know when I ovulate .. But I assume on day 14 or before ..

The doctor gave me the due date of July 8th 2015 at 6 weeks pregnant .. ( they say due dates are more accurate when you get them done that soon ) then at my 12 weeks ultrasound they changed my due date to  July 2nd .. 

Long story short .. I kept bugging ANNIE about everything on here .. Btw ANNIE is the one that knows All the answers  to our questions .. 

I ended up having my baby boy on July 2nd 2015
I got a DNA test on July 6 with my ex bf the one I had sex with all the way till the 17 .. 

And I got the results yesterday .. And it turned out he was indeed the father .. According to all my calculations and Annie's calculations he was the dad .. But I still had my doubts due to the fact that ovulation can happen whenever .. And also the fact that the sex between 2 guys were only like a 2 day difference ...  

If you guys have any questions about my situations I'll be more than happy to answer .. I know these situations are very stressful ..

I can just imagine what you are going through !! Does your baby look like any of them ?? When do you get the results back ? My days were all on point .. So if you have everything right ... I dont think it should be a problem. . I hope ..I really hope you get the results that you want ...

I had my baby in 2012 he came 3 weeks early due to a tear in my sac thing! I haven't told anyone as was so certain then I ended up watching some TV show where they was a DNA story and started thinking about if i was actually wrong about the dad! I had the morning after pill did some research found out more stories then it just escalated from there ! I'm so glad the test has been done but it's now the waiting game! I just led my ex to believe he was the dad and feel awful if it turns out to be this guy that I stupidly had a one night stand with ! My dates seem so right but I think is it too good to be true kinda thing! I've only told 2 friends but I just can't face telling my family as they supported me so much my main concern is my baby as ifrom my dates the morning tablet brought my period earlier so wouldn't of had him otherwise and he is the best thing in my life!

Annie is right ... It also helps her a lot .. And she can give a better answer to other ladies going through the same thing .. Yes I found many stories but not of them had an ending .. Lol ... I just think it's very helpful ! 

I was the same way Lucy ... But I ended up relaxing after a few months ... I realized that no matter who the dad was .. My baby was mine .. :) that help me get through it .. And I have a great family so I had their support to the fullest .. But the guy turned out to be a good father so far ... We are not getting back together due to other issues but he's being great to our son ..

Well thank you both! I don't think I've ever counted and pulled up a calendar as much as I have some lately! I really hope that the dates are correct as much as I think they are but prepared for the worst as well and I will definitely keep you posted ! X

That's why it's so helpful that you posted.  It's almost a given on MedHelp that people will write in with big problems, and then when the problem is resolved they don't write back.  On some forums all the readers are transitory, but on others some will check back to see what has happened since, and they really do want to know.  It helps me, too, since I do the counts and listen to what the person says the doctor said and try to be sure the story is clear and then make a logical guess, but I also don't often hear back to know for sure that logic ruled the day.  :)

I know exactly how you feel ... Trust me .. To be honest I think we know who's the baby daddy ... Something always told me it was bf .. But like you said people make you doubt ... And then you start reading and trying to figure it out and it drives you crazy .. Good luck with everything !! Once you know come back and tell your story maybe it can help other people ... I remember looking for similar stories like mine .. But they never had an ending ... Lol

i am going through something similar I had sex with 2 guys one 24th March and my ex 7th April and 13th April even though with first guy I had morning after pill and a period it still cause doubts obviously over guilt and being ashamed Annie really had been great! I am currently waiting for DNA tests which is so nerve wracking even though I think in my heart I know it's my ex with dates but Google and people who just 'give' random advice do make you doubt yourself ! I hope I can come back and give you a positive happy update like this!

Thanks for following up; for anyone else reading, your most convincing data point was that you got a positive home pregnancy test only five days after sex with the second guy.  They don't come up positive that fast.

I assume this means that even if you don't rekindle the relationship, your ex-boyfriend will step up for child support?  (He had better.)
