It sounds like you went to one of the less thorough labs; the best labs don't test only 14 markers. I don't know the odds of 14 matching both guys, but it does sound like you conceived when the doctors told you that you did, so please try to relax. You can get a DNA test done again when the baby is born, at a lab certified by the courts for determining paternity. Then if there is anything questionable in the results, you can get legal help to subpoena your ex to take a test.
The computer in the ultrasound machine looks at the embryo's size and its developmental markers. Once it sees the actual embryo, when your period was does not matter much for dating the pregnancy, what matters is that the ultrasound saw and measured the actual baby. Women with really irregular periods will have a period and then not ovulate for a long time, but if they come up pregnant, their number of weeks along will be counted based on the size of the embryo. The machine will count back an arbitrary two weeks to put a start to the count of number of weeks pregnant that calbrates to the average woman, but it's not claiming that the woman really had a period then.
Thank you for your comment. They are not a lab through Toronto and they advised me that 14 DNA markers was more than enough markers to exclude an alleged father. They said that if my ex and my current bf had the same ethnic background or were long distance relatives they could match. I am almost 100% sure that the baby is my current boyfriends. I had been with my ex for 7 years and it was a mistake to have sex with him that one last time and I wish I could take it back. My bf knows everything it just has bothered me and has stressed me out majorly. With the bleeding on May 25th would that be to early as a sign of implantation bleeding? I have read that implantation bleeding happens more closely to your upcoming period. It was more pinkish as well. I have also read soooo much into everything about conception and ultrasounds saying they can be off by +/- 5 days. But if all my ultrasounds match and they never changed my due date is it possible that my ultrasound was right on?

For what it's worth, implantation bleeding is not very common at all, and is maybe one droplet.
I think with the ultrasound-based dates not changing, it does sound like you did get pregnant on May 25. Is the baby a boy? If so, that would give even more credence to the later guy being the dad. Yes, there is a slim chance for the other guy, but you have covered your bases there by being honest with your boyfriend. Try to enjoy your rest of your pregnancy.
Hey Annie
The baby is a boy! So you don't think it was implantation more likely ovulation spotting?
I don't think it was either thing. Do you regularly bleed when you ovulate? I don't think many women do. When a woman has sex with a guy, sometimes her cervix gets bonked with his penis and it can bleed.
Ya I don't know I just read so much that I worked myself up on everything. For all I know it could have been nothing. I never have bled during ovulation. I highly doubt that this baby is my ex with everything it just doesn't add up. I am also having a baby boy if that helps
You mentioned that, and as I said above, that would give more credence to the later guy being the dad. Try not to work yourself up, talk only to your doctor about this kind of thing. On the Internet there is too much misinformation to make headway.
Thank you for all your help
