Numb tooth

Ok so this past Saturday I was playing flag football and long story short I collided with another player and his shoulder hit me just under my right eye. There was immediate swelling and bruising. However, right after the collision I noticed that a couple of my teeth were numb, mainly my front right tooth (sorry I don't know the precise name of it). The feeling hasn't gotten any better since then and I am just curious if it is something to be concerned about or should I wait to see if it was just a pinched nerve or something?

I know a guy who was hit in the face while playing baseball.  Even though he wasn't hit directly in the mouth, he found his teeth went numb for a short while.   Probably something to do with swelling of the nerves from where he had been hit and the subsequent bruising that followed.   See how it feels over the next few days.
