Acupuncture for Paresthesia

Hi everyone. Looks like I've joined the paresthesia club.  I had my lower wisdom teeth extracted about 1.5 weeks ago and I'm still suffering with the numbness and burning sensation in my lower lip, chin and lower teeth.  Every day I pray this will be over but I wake up to the continuous pain.  I have taken some advice on taking vitamin B12.  I would like to know what the suggested dosage would be.  Also, I was wondering if anyone ever tried acupuncture with any success.  I would appreciate any advice.
Thanks,
Rosie

Thanks for your suggestions.  I am getting some feeling back in my lower lip.  I feel this is a good sign.
