blurred vision after dental injection

A year ago I had a dental injection on the upper left side of the mouth. As soon as the needle went in, my vision in my left eye went a little blurry. A month later it was still blurred, so i went back to dentist who said maybe the needle hit a nerve and that vision should come back within a few weeks. 3 months later, still no change so i went to see an eye specialist who had no idea what was wrong and said that the face has no nerves that could cause blurred vision if damaged by a dentist needle. A year has now gone by and i still haven't recovered. My left eye is still blurred and it really bothers me especially when it is sunny outside. Can this ever heal? Can a needle really hit a nerve that causes permanent blurred vision in one eye? Please help.

I had loss of vision when given the shot..I was so scared it took a little bit to get it back my dentist doc was scared bc nothing like that has never happened to him before "I was the first".. but the dentist said he read up on it and it was because I had short nerves in my mouth where he gave me the injection . Didn't make any sense to me but good thing was is that I got my vision back in atater of min.

yes a aneedle can do that damage.... when they give you shots in your upper maxillary arch anywhere near the canine teeth they usually have you close your eyes cause just the shot will cause the eye to flutter...and we try to not scare the patient and if the eye was open while injecting the flutter would deff scare someone...
im sorry your going thru this.... have you been back to the dentist?...its deff the needle
