Dry Socket Questions, help please.

I got my wisdom teeth out on Monday 4/7 and I was prescribed hydrocodone, in which I took a half a pill rather than a full one and got violently ill for 9 hours and unable to eat much of anything until about Saturday.  Anyways I think during me throwing up, my blood clots got dislodged on the upper and lower left side. And I had been getting pain radiating from my ear to my jaw and aching teeth. I've been on extra strength ibuprofen for this entire week so the pain hasn't been that bad but my follow up was today and I told the dentist about the pain and he said I have dry sockets and all they did was irrigate it with antibiotic rinse and then give me a script so I can rinse and a needless syringe so I can irrigate for myself. Anyways so it's been 8 days since my surgery and the right side has been healing just fine little to no pain at all, but i had some food in the hole so I used the syringe to do a little irrigation, and I think the "scab" fell out of it, now i have a little bit of pain on that side but not much. I've been using clove oil to subside the pain, Do you think my dry sockets on the left will heal on their own without the packing? And did I just create another dry socket on my right side? What can I do? (sorry so long i have a lot of questions)

I think getting a dental clove oil packing will help you manage the pain.  I have been getting regular packing since my dry socket started.  Almost 2 weeks on I started feeling a lot better yesterday. Not something I ever want to experience again!
