Thinking about yourself is a solid advice, but you have to also think about your patients.
Using ultra-sonic scalers without proper training may do way more harm than good. Good examples which come to mind are digging into demins and damaging/completely removing restorations.
no probs i know how it feels being put in the situation where you feel you should do something when you may know how but do not have the legal correct training, don't leave yourself on the firing line if something go wrong and if they get funny about it, get legal advice would be 100% behind you because they should not be letting you do the treatment.
good luck
I think you might be right!!! Thanks...
im not 100% but i do not think you are allowed to be doing that, and if you are a registered nurse you are then liable for blame in doing this and are blame worthy so i would look into it properly hun maybe contact dental council and find out for sure,
