Oral Thrush

Been diagonosed with Oral thrush, annoying at the back of my tounge on the 'papllae vallatee' and was perscribed Nystan 4 times a day.
I take this at 7am - 12pm - 5pm & 10pm.
I started the course 4 days ago and about 25% of the thrush has gone, but the rest is persisting.
Any advice?

Some images....Nystatine didnt work. Fluconazole not working after 7 days....Starting to wonder if there has been misdiagnosis.

THis is what I am dealing with? Common thrush or just bacteria build up.

Thanks. Doctor switched me to 100mg daily, of Fluconazole.
I am on day 5 and not sure if I am seeing any improvement. I have a 10 day course. Should I call on Friday to increase past 10 days?

you have to complete the therapeutic course for at least 48 hours after the resolution of symptoms...
if you are taking Nystatin 100,000 IU 6 hourly, the course is at least 14-21 days
