Infected Face

My girlfriend had her wisdom teeth removed the other day.

Day one she was not very swollen.. Day two she got more swollen.. and day three and four the right side of her face has ballooned up..

I know swelling is normal (although, when mine were removed I had minimal to no swelling) but this looks a little worse than normal.

She's now complaining about a bitter tasting yellowy brown substance that she thinks is coming from the stitch area. I'm starting to think it might be infected but I wanted some second opinions.

Any info will help.. Im not a doc so for all I know it could be just normal..

She should wash her mouth out with salt water also, I have been told this helps with the healing process.
