Painful raised area underneath tongue.

Alright I just noticed that last night it seemed to have gotten a little bit bigger than the last time i looked. It is about the size of my pinky nail, give or take a little bit. It is a light white color and as I said it is very painful. It is right a the base of the underneath tongue, so whenever I actually move my tongue it makes it hurt..well even when I don't move my tongue it hurts. Can you help me figure out what it is?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
I would suggest you see your dentist or an oral surgeon. It is not possible to diagnosis this without seeing it.;
