Pimples???

Is it possible to get a pimple in your mouth??? On your gums??? I notices a rough spot on my gums form and extraction site (earlier I posted about having 3 teeth extracted and developing a dry socket in one of the sites), and it seems to be the same spot I had the dry socket. Looked with a mirror, and it looks like I have a "zit" there. Red around it with a white spot in the center. Is this possible or could it just be a canker sore? (That was my other guess) Can't get to the dentist for another 2 1/2 weeks, so any help would be appreciated.

It,s probably a bone spur, frequently seen after recent extraction.
