I have a lump on the roof of my mouth towards

I have a lump on the roof of my mouth towards the back corner. It comes and goes. It used to not happen too often but now I get it every few days, usaully after I eat something. It appears as a little, hard bump and then swells larger and larger until it eventually pops, like a blister or pimple(yeah, I know, kind of gross). Even when it's gone I can still feel a kind of hardness beneath the skin.
It first started to appear about 7 months ago.

I'm worried it could be mouth cancer. I don't smoke or chew tobbaco. As for my research on the internet, the only matching smptoms i've seen is mouth cancer.
I don't think mocucele diagnosis matches.

I'm kind of afraid to go to the dentist. I don't have any kind of insurance or anything.
Has anyone seen a similiar symptom to this that wasn't mouth cancer?

i saw somewhere that if u damage the tubes that direct saliva in your mouth they can swell and form a blister or bubble that will eventually burst and do so continually it's not life threatining but it rarley goes away on it's one the tube needs to be unplugged so to speak of the trapped saliva

My husband was told yesterday a she got the results from a biopsy that he had a basal cell tumor, on the side of his nose. He needs surgery. But inside on the roof of his mouth he has a  elogated bump about an inch long and it is raised quite a bit from the roof of his mouth. In addition, there is another one right next to it smaller then 2 small dot onesl. If you put a needle from where he had the biopsy through his nose it would land exactly where these lumps are. I told him to go to dentist today and get xrays, he has to have surgery on the place on the side of his nose. Could there be a connection? thanks julia
