Tongue sucking

Tongue or teeth sucking has become a problem to me for the past ten years. I have the feeling it is changing the shape of my face. What can I do?

Try stretching exercises of your face to help you relax.  When you brush your teeth, make sure you open your mouth fairly wide and thrust your tongue out to brush it.  This simple habit, done 3-5 times a day, will help.

Do facial muscle stretching like this:  Open mouth and draw lips into an O, pulling them inside your mouth.  Feel the stretch?  Gently move your lower jaw from side to side with teeth open far enough that you don't bang them against each other.  Try to keep the muscles loose while you do this.  Then repeat the first move.  Scrunch your nose up and pull your upper lip upward.

Don't you feel better?
