Tired of this swelling

Hello... So I was in ER 3 nights ago for excruciating pain and tons of face swelling after seeing a dentist whom told me I had a tooth abscess..I was prescribed amoxicillin but that along with all the pain meds was not helping and my swelling became worse..so I went to the emergency room. I started experience very bad chills and high fever upon arriving there so luckily I went.

They sent me to a different hospital for oral surgery and the Dr. Made a drain in my gum and inserted a drainage..prescribed a second antibiotic of Metronidozale along with the Amoxicillin..my swelling and pain has gone down but still noticeable swelling and discomfort. How long does this take to go away?? And what can I do to help get rid of it quicker? I'm embarrassed to leave my house and not a happy gal.

Thanks.
