What could the cause of this post-extraction infection be?

I had wisdom teeth removed a little over a month ago. I've had a few complications including (earlier on) dry socket and (more recently) an infection just behind my 12 y/o molar. Around my 12 y/o molar on one side, there is continual swelling and pus when pressure is applied, as well as a strange, swollen flap that extends over my 12 y/o molar. I've gone through a round of antibiotics already and it hasn't affected it very much. Does anyone here happen to know what could be causing this?
