I had a fractured anterior tooth #6 extracted and a bone graft of bovine and cadaver bone installed 2 ½ weeks ago, and I took a regime of antibiotics prior to extraction, and for one week thereafter.  I am experiencing a mild sensitivity.  How long before the extraction site calms down?

Hi,
It can take a while to all settle down, esp after a graft,  but it's always a good idea to let your dentist check it to make sure the infection is completely gone if you are experiencing any pain.

My best to you,
Gellia
