Hello,
The exact treatment for her symptoms can be decided only after a clinical examination. You should try to keep the lips well moisturized with an antimicrobial ointment. It is best to avoid picking at or otherwise manipulating the new healing tissue since that will quickly lead to the area cracking back open again. It is best to get it checked by a primary care physician. A physical examination is important to determine the accurate treatment. Hope it helped.
Best luck and regards!

Glad she got better. My son bit his lip after procedure and his swelled bad and it was his first time with the numbing shot ans I panicked and ran him back thinking he had a reaction and the gently pulled it dow and sure enough he had bitten it! Very scary when its our kids!
