2012...... Fear

I amgoingto star off by saying that I am a Christian and believe that December21,2012 is goingto be like anyother day, but I cant shake the feeling of the unknown... I cant stop thinking about it..... I am a worrier and it keeps bothering me...

I guess I am depressed because I am scared of  my now 13 month old son never starting kindergarden and have a slight fear of even thinking about it.... Is this normal to feel like this???? I am tired of being upset and not being able to enjoy myson and life....

My Mom keepstelling me that peoplealways try to predict the end, and she has been scared before and even kept my brother homefromschool..(before I was born) due to fear of a HORRIBLE Earthquake.... She says noone has ever been right but I cant shake it...Please if you have any advice to ease my thoughts that would be great!

Thanks everyone... Its just so hard reading the websites and not being able to find anything Bibilical... Its all Bible Code stuff which I dont believe in..... All the sites make it sound scary andlike it is going to happen.... I guess talking to my Minister will help but I amover worrying..... I am scared andI have always been this way!!!! Why do I feel this way... I shouldnt I know what I believe just cant shake the fear!

or you could be on some crazy sally d trip and not even know that this whole life you are living right now is just a huge drug trip and you wont know till you die and once you do you will snap out of the trip and be like "what the **** happen" and your a whole other person

If you are a true christian, then where is your faith? I do understand your worry as alot of people have the same worry as you,many hate the thaught of end times as we know them, many hate the idea of God himself for their own fears. Yes, I am a born again christian and I long for the day that God returns but in the meantime we all have work that needs to be done here and leave his comming to him,but never forget to look up as his comming shall be in the twinkle of an eye. To be in his glory there is nothing better than that and being a beliver that is where you shall be so teach your loved ones about jesus and try to teach them of his love and remember to try to be just like him,as you follow his ways. Why worry, what have you to lose if you give your life to him, there is ever lasting life. He has prepared a place for all his children and the young are innocent. Keep your faith strong and you will be fine.

It sounds like you have an obessive/complusive tendency that makes you worry and dwell on the negative.  You might want to do some research on neuroscience; it can explain what is happening in your brain.  You may just need supplements, better diet, exercise, or you may need meds.  Try to find someone to talk to.  Don't isolate yourself.  There are free counselors for low income if you qualify.

Have you been watching Jack Van Impee? I just wanted to let you know that I am really interested in Bible prophesy, but nobody does know the day or the hour. I have a whole different view than you. I say praise God and hallelujah. I'm so ready to go to my true home and be with the Lord. Yes, I do suffer from severe clinical depression which makes me want to go even sooner. Please try not to worry about that date. Christ will come back when he comes back and it will be joyous for us who believe. God Bless.

I can assure you that the world will still be here beyond 2012. None of us may have a job then, but the world will still be here. (That was a little humor)

Seriously, try not to dwell on that silly prediction. If it makes you feel better I can list 5 seperate dates in history that were supposed to be the end date. Were still here.

It is said that no Man or Woman will know when the end will be. God will come down only in a time of his choosing. That could be next week or a million years from now.
