Can this be depression

I had a occupational injury 7 months ago, I have been on wcomp for 4 months now.  I finally had surgery 12 days ago.  I was in a walking bot for 5 months and now with a triple subtlatr joint fusion with ligament repair I am unable to walk and recovery will be close to a good 8-12 months.  ANYWAYS the entire experience with Wcomp and a awful HR dept/company I work for has made my experience awful to say the least.  I am house bound now and am recently able to use a knee scooter.  I have Noticed a SUDDEN shift in myself I CANT or Dont sleep well. Once regular schedule with my spouce 10-7, but now 3am-noon.  I CANT eat or have little to No appetite I have nausa 80% of the time and feel not blah but can pin point it.  I just have no feeling.  I shower at night right before my spouce comes home, and am in Pj's all the time. Now his part may be due to what is easiest with my mobility the shower Pj thing. I was on a 2 low dose pain meds for the 1st week.  I dont feel right at all and am beginning to worry.  I cant describe how I feel, I dont have any random or scary thoughts but I KOWN this is not normal for me and I dont like it at all.   I think that my entire injury/wcomp ordeal may be the key.  PLEASE ADVISE

Now is the time for you to pick a primary doctor aka general physician to schedule a welfare check and possibly get a referral. Before doing so there are websites and free apps that can help give you information on whether you are depressed after you answer some multiple choice questions. I like the M3 depression check app. I hope that helps.

Hmmm.  I didn't notice that you said you want to die in the above post.  If that is truly the case, go to the emergency room now....

You've got to get diagnosed in order to get treated for whatever this is, so its time to hunt up a doctor and get acquainted.

Thanks I know no one can diag, I was just curious to if anyone else may believe that this fits into depression catagory.  Depression is so vast not everyone wants to die.  All I know is I dont like this I know its not normal for me and I really dont want ot go into the mind set that maybe I have a illness ontop of everything else.  My best edcuated bet tells me this is a onset or beginning to a wave of depression.  I just never had the food, sleep, nausa thing before.  I dont have a general doctor either.

I don't know if anyone here is "allowed" to diagnose anyone with anything.  But truth be told, I reckon this could be any number of things.  The first thing that comes to mind is stress.

You've been through a less than desirable situation and the recovery time looks to be a long road.  Stress can manifest itself in numerous ways.  I'd suggest that you see your general physician and speak with them for an initial diagnosis and a plan of attack.
