I know...as a Xanax user and current weaner trying to get off of it, I completely understand how good it feels when you feel "absolutely normal"...that's what makes these group of drugs so tricky. I hope that everything smooths out for you soon...
I had to take a .5 mg of ativan today. It made me feel absolutely normal. It actually almost felt good today to feel normal. I know of another person who is in a high stress job too and takes ativan almost daily to focus her etc. Anyway, I am trying to not rely on it but I am also not going to go through these crazy feelings.
If you think that your psychologist can get this handled for you, I would have him/her call your MD.
Again, remember, Ativan is not recommended as a long-term solution for anxiety. I'm sure your psychologist will discuss this with you, but I just wanted to mention that, too.
I hope that you begin feeling better soon...
it is called an IUD-birthcontrol. intrauterine device?? xanwear, thanks. I have been reading some other forums and some people are attributing anxiety etc to this....I will journal, record symptoms and bring it up to my doc. Oh ya, my MD wouldn't do a refill over the phone...so I have to go in...thanks GOD I had enough ativans to get through to this week. Should I have my psychologist call her? How does all of this work...
I had a Copper 7 for years and did not experience any depression from it. I'm certainly not discounting anything that you may have uncovered, I just thought I'd share my personal experience with you.
Good luck in uncovering the possible cause...and if you find out, share it with us...
