Depression and Cipralex

I have just started this medication tonight, I am concerned about some side effects, and how long they take to take effect, as I used to ahve seizure's but was still put on this medication, however I am not on any other kinds of meds.

My qusetion is I also suffer from sleep disorder I sleep 4-5 hours a night and cant sleep anymore I lied down around midnight to fall asleep around 2 am. or later. I really don't know what to think or do with the depression is there anyone who has taken this as well and can say you were able to get a job again, be around family and friends? as I can't even be around my own family for a long period of time, Please advise of anything that I can do to help with this, another issue is because of the anxiety, and depression be so sever I was not able to go to a counselor

it has been about three weeks since starting Ciraplex. When I first started at 5mg a day with in a few days I was starting to feel great... but i was really jumpy and could not sit still. I read on some other posts that this is normal and it will pass and it did. I started to feel the depression coming back so  I am now taking 10mg per day and have for the last week. I have noticed that my depressive state of mind and body is back. The despair is not qutie so heavy but none the less, I feel like I am going backwards. Is this common? Has anyone else has this experince.? thank you

Was your doctor aware of your past experience with seizures?  If you were young you probably outgrew them.  I take this, and have for a few years with excellent results.  It will take 4-6 weeks for it to really kick in.  It will also help with your sleep, and allow you to be able to see a therapist. Hang in there, things will get better! I wish you all the best and take care.

PS, sorry if it jumps from 1 topic to another, as I stated earlier I started to take this medication tonight, and it is 20mg.
