Im new to depression!!!

I HAVE HAD ITCHY SKIN ALL OVER WITH BURNING SENSATIONS, EXTREME FATIGUE, HEADACHES. AFTER ALL BLOOD TESTS WERE NORMAL I FIND OUT I HAVE A LOW SEROTONIN LEVEL. I HAVE NEVER EVEN THOUGHT I WAS DEPRESSED UNTIL NOW. THE CYCLE IS FOR ONLY 1 MONTH AND CALLED CELEXA. I HAVE NO HISTORY OF ANXIETY ATTACKS OR DEPRESSION. IS THIS AN ISOLATED INCIDENT OR WILL I HAVE TO TAKE ANTI-DEPRESSANTS FOREVER?

It takes 8 weeks to get the full effect from Celexa, so I don't know you mean about that 4 week cycle. Do you mean you have only a month supply and need to see your doc after for follow-up? You can't quit cold turkey without risking withdrawals, but tapering off per your docs instructions may cause no withdrawals, which is what happened to me. So your doc intends you to be on ths drug for more than 4 weeks.
Perhaps you can get some more info from your pharmacist.

I took it for 7 months and quit a while ago, so it doesn't necessarily have to be a permanent health issue.
Write back. Please don't use all capitals though, as it is hard on the eyes.

I would see your family doctor if you are having constant itching and a rash as well as other symptoms. You may be allergic to something, but it's hard to tell.
