Online Diaries/Journals

Does anyone know of a website where you can keep an online diary or journal that doesn't necessarily have to be made public? Is there one on here? I honestly haven't had the time or energy to look or research. When you're this depressed, the last thing you have is the right state of mind to be googling stuff like that, so I was hoping that someone might know the answer for me. I apologize for NOT taking the time to find this out on my own, but I have so much on my mind, and not sure I'm ready to share with anyone. I'm sure I eventually will, but at this time, all I want is a place to express my thoughts and feelings, and although I know I won't be judged, I'm not sure I'm ready to share. Does that make sense to anyone? Thank you in advance to all that know.I know that others feedback can be beneficial, but I first want to get it out before I ask for others feedback. I have alot on my mind and right now I just want it out!! Thanks again. I would keep a written one, but like I said, taking the chance of having others read it and want to discuss, is not something that I am ready for at this time. I first need to vent to me- then maybe I'll be more comfortable venting to others.

Oh THANK YOU!! I wrote that late last night and I really wasn't up to searching.. Sorry for  being so lazy!! I knew there was a journal on MH, but wasn't sure about the privacy option. I'm sure I will eventually make it public, as I'm sure there are many of you that can help me feel better, but right now I just want to get it out- And it'll pretty much just be rambling at this point! I have a full head, and I need to empty some of it out so I can think clearly again!

Once again, thank you for the info!

There are lots of places online, but you do also have the option here at MH where you can choose the privacy of your journal entry. The best about the journals here are that you can have the entry set to private, friends only and public. You can change the privacy settings later, edit the entry and its title if you like and you can chose to get notifications about commnents to your mailbox etc.
I hope it is as helpful to you as I know it has been for others.
