PROZAC and WEIGHT GAIN

I was taking Prozac for about a year and half and had just recently stopped (approximately 2 weeks now).  I gained about 30 lbs as a side effect (sadly)...so now I am left wondering if this will eventually "fade away" in time --- and if so, how long does it normally take for it to be completely out of your system ... ??? ...

Thank you for your time and help.

Not 2 weeks for the withdrawals effects to be gone (this could take 1 month at max) but 2 weeks for the medication to be out of your system completely.. actually its more 10 days but let's play it safe and say 2 weeks.

As for weight gain, extra cardiovascular workout could be required along with a restricted calories diet.

Hello M4YOU...

I am glad to hear from someone...thank you for your time...

So are you saying -
Max 2 weeks for the effects (of prozac) to completely be out of my system?...

As for getting rid of the weight that I gained due to this medication, do you know if it will require me to do more than my normal workout routine?  --- just want to get a better idea of what to expect...

...thanks again...
