My husband is in the same way. He is starting on Seroquel XR as an add on to his welbutrin we are hopint this works! getting very frustrated.
Me too, i have that debilitating depression too. All i can do is shake and fret and wring my hands, and just let my mind race away with fears and what ifs and whys. So far, i've just noticed feeling more foggy and forgetful, and less motivation than before. I hope it turns around soon. I know i've only taken it a couple of days. I have noticed that i sleep hard at night, but i'm still drowsy during the day. I think what is the worst part for me, is knowing that usually - i'm a happy go lucky type person, but when i get down.. i get so far down i dont see a way out. I just want to crawl into bed and go to sleep and not have to wake up to another day type down. I really hope one of these medications kick in soon.
I took it similar circumstances, it was terrific. After several months I was able to reduce it, and just stay with the AD.
It can make you very drowsy, I took very low dose, but it boosted and got me on my feet again.
I dont have Bipolar, just debilitating depression, of the heaving shaking variety LOL
(yes i can laugh now)
So im going to go with i dont have an adequate response to my AD meds which is why he put me on this because i know i'm not bipolar.. i dont think. -_-
