Sertraline and Euphoria?

In December, I was given a a very low dose script for Sertraline/Zolft.  I take 25mg in the am and 25mg in the pm.  I love this drug, I don't remember the last time I felt so light and bubbly and happy!  But I've been on it for 4 months now and still feel almost giddy, especially in my relationship with my husband.  We have a wonderful marriage  and are best friends and I feel like I'm 16 again and I'm wondering if this is going to come crashing down once my body has been on the drug a while.  I love feeling this good and don't want it to stop.  Is this a permanent side effect of Sertraline/Zolft or will it go away?

It is a good fit.  I ended up in a psych ward for 3 days because I ate a bottle of Prozac and everything else made me feel dead inside.  I remember wanting to cry and my eyes actually hurting from trying and I couldn't.  It sucked and I hate that people have to go through these feelings

By the way, we are neighbors.  I'm in Surfside!

Me too. Count your blessings. I've not been helped by antidepressants like Zoloft. So it looks like a good fit for you!

Lucky you.  Enjoy the feelings.  I took Sertraline for a number of years, but never felt as good as you do.  Obviously it really suits you.  I am so pleased you are feeling as you do.

We all react differently to drugs, but I would say if you are feeling so well after 3 months, then there is no reason to suppose you will not continue to do so.  There will be many people here who envy how you have reacted to an anti depressant.  Long may it continue.  I am so happy for you.
