cipralex dependency

i took cipralex tablets(escitalopram 10 mg) for 1 month.i felt better.i want to ask if this drug is assosiated with dependency(does it cause dependence?

I've been on Lexapro--the US version for a while now--nearing one year.  Its a good drug that actually works for me.  I would definitely ask a doctor how to taper off because I only got headaches when I had to go up in dose. I'm sure I'll have headaches if I do back down.

I don't think it causes a major dependency..

hi, i've been on cipralex for 2 years, and the good thing abt it is it is not addictive. you can eventually come off the medication. but be sure not to stop it abruptly. need doctor s advice on how to come off it.
