Thank you guys for your answers!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry for the misunderstanding. Um I haven't forgotten mine even through it was over 3 years ago. Mine was horrible and traumatizing too no thanks to the nurses there. I have been hospitalized 3 times the last time was the worst. I hope you get over it. Sorry i am not more positive on that one.
Stay strong!

I don't know if you'll ever truly forget about an experience or if that's a wise choice to try and make. You can however learn to accept and move on from that memory. Each person does this differently, and the time it takes will also vary. Your doctor would be an excellent person to talk to this about, as well as family/friends. You can also post on here if you wish and we'll help you as best we can.
i meant when you stayed in psychiatric unit, can you forget that experience and live a normal life, for me it was traumatising!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
People do get better from depression, with treatment. If you have mania/bipolar disorder it is likely you will need medication for life but it is possible to be stable without depression and manias, if you take the medication. Life with out the hospital unit is defiantly possible as well, depending on how long you were there will change how hard it is to adapt. I hope this answers your question.

It is not healthy...in fact it is dangerous to stop psychiatric medications in one day. If you wish to stop your medications you need to consult your doctor. I don't understand your second question can you explain what you mean?
