My husband is taking quite a few meds, and I am starting to wonder if he is taking a combo that is not right.  He goes to one doctor to get xanax and lunesta, and then another doctor to get paxil and then a 3rd doctor has him on neurontin.  Can this combo of drugs be right?  Just seems like they are over-medicating, or else they may not know the others exist.  I have asked him, and he gets angry when I talk about it.  I'm at wits end here.  I don't know how to help.

If you don't have time to see your doc, you could call a pharmacist to see if they will give you any advice about all those meds taken together. You regular pharmacist might be willing to give you the advice, or else just go into one and ask the person working for advice.

It sounds like he is doctor hopping to get meds, not a good thing. With what's he's doing there is a risk of over medicating and addiction.  Do any of the doctors know about each other? Do you have your own family doctor? I would bring it up with your's because I wouldn't know how to go about dealing with this or making a judgement regarding addiction. I know this can't happen in BC because all of the doctor's activities are watched by one main system as we are all on the same health insurance. If he gets angry about it, some red flags are flying. I think you are right to question his meds.
