lexipro overdose

Has anyone on here ever taken too much of a medication by accident. I have been taking 10mg of lexipro four three years.My medical dr. prescribed 20 mg of lexipro. My anxiety sent me back to my pyciatrist. He said to stay on the 10mg because I had too much anxiety about taking the 20. Anyway I accidently took a 20 mg tablet this morning. My dr is out today. But the receptionist told me to go back to 10 mg tomorrow. So I wondered if this was safe? I should add that I have health anxiety..

You will be fine. Your doctor originally prescribed 20mg, so its a safe dose. Just go back onto the ten and don't worry about it.
