weaning cipralex
I have been on cipralex for about 3 years now and have been symptom free and side effect free. I made the decision to begin slowly weaning. I dropped from 20mg to 15mg about 3 weeks ago. My questions is: Has anyone else experienced insomnia as a withdrawl side effect? I haven't been able to sleep for the past 4 nights and I'm not sure if it could be due to this decrease. Aside from the lack of sleep, I feel great! Any information/suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks for the feedback. Yes, I am working with a doctor. I am lucky that my uncle is an MD who specializes in addiction medicine and mental health. I spoke to him yesterday and he said to stay on the 15mg for now and see what happens. Also, I was able to sleep last night:)
