This drug also known as Lioresal (Baclofen)is used to treat spasticity in multiple sclerosis or spinal cord injuries. It works by reducing the transmission of impulses from the spinal cord to skeletal muscle, thus reducing the frequency and amplitude of muscle spasms in patients with spinal cord lesions.
