What is this Hard bump on my face i've had for about three years

So randomly about three years ago I woke up one night in my face feel like it was burning I went into the bathroom and there was a small raised bump about the size of a Grain of rice.  The bump is flesh colored and when it's  irritated it hardens up the skin around it and turns completely white. Over the past three years I've had a couple episodes were it itches and flames up and hardens the skin around it.  I seriously have no idea what it is and I don't know if I should be worried has anyone else experienced something similar ? What could it be?

I'm not sure what it could be, but I'd get to the doctor to have it checked out if you have had it that long and it came on that suddenly.
