MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi

This sounds like an abrasion. The glans penis is covered with a thinner skin than most part of the body. Refrain from manipulating the area. Wash the area with a mild cleanser only such as Cetaphil. Do not rub or pick on the area as this may only cause further irritation. Avoid wearing tight underpants. Wash your genitals after urination since urine may further cause redness and pain in the area.

At this point, there is no need to apply any creams or lotions. Just avoid picking on the area. If this is a mild abrasion, this should revert to normal in time.
