Bite on my shaft?

God this is so embarrassing.

On the right side of my shaft perhaps 1cm south of the circumcision, I've got a bump. Not a lesion or anything, no puss or anything screaming out. It feels and looks as if there is a BB lodged in (although there is not). There is, however, a small opening on top which lets a clear substance out when squeezed. This closely resembles that of a pimple.

When I was deployed in 120+ degree heat, the same thing happened on the scrotum, it was a small ingrown hair irritated by stress and/or the heat. I am monogamous and my partner has NO STDs. Seeing a health care professional is simply not an option right now (trust me, I'd have been there days ago). Please help!

Hello Miss,

Well, I'll go down that list. No itching, no painful urination, no drainage, and there is generally no pain. It is not discoloured or anything like that. It just feels like a BB, like I said.

Thank you.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
HI,

Are there other symptoms present? Sores on the male genitals may present with itching, painful urination, drainage from the penis, or pain at the site of the sore.  This is usually caused by infection, possible sexually transmitted diseases, venereal warts, molluscum contagiosum, or allergic reactions. Direct clinical examination is important to reach a diagnosis. A complete physical examination and medical history must be done for proper management. Treatment will depend on the underlying cause.

Take care and keep us posted.
