Rash & petechiae spreading for three weeks now, Someone please help

So three weeks ago I had 4-5 small bumps in the crease of my right elbow. Right when this appeared I also noticed a large amount of petechiae between my thighs. I played the petechiae off as heat rash and the bumps I figured were mosquito bites. Fast forward to today and about 80 percent of my body is now covered in a mixture of red bumps and petechiae. I’ve visited a walk in clinic twice, first time I was given a prednisone shot as well as five days of PO prednisone. I also started doxycycline that evening. Red bumps spread more. Went back for a CBC with PT and a UA all of which were normal except my MPV value reading a 7.8. They brought in a second doctor who said it was a viral exanthem, but from doing research it seems like those only last 2 weeks max? It’s been three days since my labs and the rash is still growing. Prior to this all starting I did have a cough/cold bout lasting like 2 weeks. Still have a slight cough now. A week after this rash started I’ve had stomach issues. Sharp pains/fullness feeling. Feel dizzy from time to time. Getting pains that shoot down into my toes once or twice a day. I do have a history of UC but haven’t had a flare up since 2012. I’ve considered Henoch Schonlein Purpura? The bumps don’t itch or burn, there’s no blister or head to them. They’re only slightly raised if at all. The petechiae is flat and non blanching. I’m just stumped. We’re in a month insurance lapse also so I’m limited to how much healthcare I have access to. I’ve spent over a week now googling trying to self diagnose myself in between crying frustration fits. HELP!

So sorry you are going through this- I know this must be very frustrating!
Unfortunately, Google is a bad way to diagnosis conditions- it rarely ever helps to get to the bottom of what is really going on. Have you called around to other doctors to check on their policy for seeing patients without insurance?  Sometimes they will get you in and give you large discounts on the cost- it sounds like this condition is likely a bit over the heads of the doctors at the clinic and given the stomach and pain issues you are having, you may need some more tests run.  Give a call to some doctors and see if they will work with you- I know many have worked with my family and myself in the past so don't just not go because of the insurance.  Let us know how you are doing and if you are able to get in to see anyone!

I forced myself to stop googling yesterday. You’re absolutely correct. I had like three mini panic attacks yesterday which I’m sure aren’t helping the situation. I’m just not the type of person to sit back and not know what’s going on. I woke up with a muscle spasm in my cheek yesterday that lasted all day long, stress related I’m sure. Rash still not getting better. Stomach feels a little better this morning and no more twitch. I’m going to make an appointment with my family doctor today to see what else can be done before resorting to spending $300+ at a dermatologist. I have called around and priced appointments with them along with a biopsy, visit being $100-$200 and a biopsy around $150. Thank you so much for your reply. I’ll definitely update with any info as I receive it.
