thanks soo much for your help, actually your advice really helped. I went to my doctor and he told me that it was inflammation from an allergic reaction I had, he wasnt quite sure what it was but he prescribed me some cream that I was to use 3 times a day. He said the pain came from the inflammation, once I used the cream the pain went down and so did the swelling as well as the redness. Hopefully i never comes back, thanks again!

Could be an allergic reaction to your bra, could be shingles, could be dermatitis from sweat, or could be a candida (yeast infection) or it could be plain old acne.  You can try washing well and keeping dry, change your bra to a different brand/style, maybe try an over-the-counter antihistamine cream, no improvement would warrant a check by a doc.

Hi Rubypearl,

First I want to welcome you to the Pain Management Forum and let you know that we are glad you found this Forum. I want to let you know that there are NO Doctors on this Forum only CP - Chronic Pain - Patients that help each other with our OWN expertise and experiences that we have developed through our OWN CP Issues.

I'm sorry that you are experiencing this discomfort!!  I've had something similar before and mine was from heat.  I kept it dry and put Baby Powder on it.  I KNOW that there are MANY OTC products out there for heat rash.  You might check with your Pharmacist and tell them what's going on and I'm SURE that they can recommend what would be best for you.

IF you don't think that it's just a heat rash, then you should go and check with your Doctor and see what they say.  There's always the possibility that it could be caused by an allergy of some type as well as other possibilities.

I wish you the VERY best and hope that you will let us know what you found out.  :)

I'll be looking for you update................Sherry
