Hello,
I have a question about what I believe was the result of some sort of bite some days ago.
I was travelling across the states from the West coast, and stopped in Minnesota by the side of the road for an hour nap. When I woke up, my right hand was numb from the pinkie through to the middle finger. At first I thought it was a bad case of my hand falling asleep, but as it was a lot stronger then I recall these things being I took a look at my hand and noticed 4-5 small bumps / bites in the side of my hand in a random pattern covering about 1/2" by 1/2".
The numbing reduced to only about a 1/4 of my hand within 1/2 hour, and then has gone down more since then (been three days). However, it is still numb partially especially in my pinkie finger, and feels a bit tingly and weird when I shake people's hands or when I'm doing other things which apply pressure to my hand.
Any thoughts from anyone? There don't seem to be any insect bites which match my description, but I am fairly positive it is an insect bite of sorts. I read that bed bugs might cause something like this, but that seems odd.
Thanks ahead of time!
