Am I infected or is it just thick growing hairs down there?

About last week I’d shaved completely for the first time to go on a beach trip with a friend. The second day there I’d started feeling a bit irritated in my vaginal  region. I’d chalked it up to hairs growing and felt with it, however, the beginning of this month before the beach I’d had unprotected sex with a person who claims they’re clean.

I’m itchy and was previously (noticeably) dry. There are small bumps down there, once again can’t tell if it’s just ingrown hairs or not. My discharge seems normal but it’s a bit much. I’ve drank only water and cranberry juice since the beach trip, and since it’s my first time shaving bald I can’t tell if this is normal or if I should be worried. I can’t quite find anything to match this too, STD wise. Help please.

Sounds like just an irritation from shaving- make sure to wash with soap and water before and after and always use a clean razor when shaving any parts of your body.  Since you had unprotected sex, it's not a bad idea to get STD testing done- just as a precaution.
